Water Mitigation Specialist

Job Summary

Managing mitigation losses remotely, the full-time Water Mitigation Specialist will ensure prompt communication with policyholders, coordinate with contractors, and expedite claims closure while adhering to company policies and procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Provides efficient contact with policyholders and dispatches certified contractors for timely service
• Actively manages files to mitigate damage and verifies claim status with insurance carriers
• Communicates with clients to recommend reserve amounts and escalates coverage concerns as needed

Required qualifications

• GED or High School Diploma required
• Able to pass IICRC WRT certification course after training
• Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Reliable high-speed home broadband internet connection is required for remote work
