Job Summary
To support the Government of Malawi's water security initiatives, the part-time Water Resilience Consultant will provide technical, analytical, and stakeholder engagement services, focusing on policy support, programme coordination, and evidence generation in a remote capacity.
Key responsibilities
- Support the implementation of the Water Resilience Tracker and Just Transitions for Water Security initiatives, including documentation of progress and challenges
- Assist in strengthening Joint Sector Review processes and synthesizing evidence from sector performance information
- Maintain action trackers and follow-up matrices, preparing periodic implementation progress summaries and learning notes
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field such as economics, Development Studies, or Water Resources Management
- Minimum of three years of experience in water, climate resilience, or development programming
- Demonstrated experience in preparing technical reports and policy briefs
- Experience working with government institutions and development partners
- Strong understanding of Malawi's policy and institutional environment
