Water/Wastewater Estimator

Job Summary

Supporting critical infrastructure projects, the full-time Water/Wastewater Treatment Plant Estimator will assist in quantity takeoffs, collaborate with teams for bid preparation, and engage in training to develop estimating skills while working remotely from various states including Nevada, Idaho, Oregon, Utah, and California.

Key responsibilities

• Assists in reviewing construction plans and performing entry-level quantity takeoffs under supervision
• Supports the preparation of scopes and bid packages while collaborating with the Pre Bid team
• Participates in training sessions to enhance proficiency in estimating software and plan reading

Required qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in construction, engineering, or related fields
• Exposure to reading blueprints or construction documents is preferred
• Associate degree or technical certificate is preferred; equivalent experience will be considered
• Coursework in Construction Management, Engineering, or related fields is beneficial
• Willingness to learn and develop technical skills related to estimating
