Web Accessibility Specialist

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time contract Web Accessibility Specialist, the candidate will ensure compliance with accessibility standards such as the Americans with Disabilities Act and WCAG 2.0/2.1 while working remotely to remediate digital content for accessibility.

Key responsibilities

• Assess and remediate web content and documents to meet accessibility standards
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices for accessibility
• Provide training and support on accessibility tools and technologies

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience
• At least one year of experience remediating PDF documents for accessibility
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and Adobe Acrobat Pro
• Strong understanding of accessibility laws and regulations
• Working knowledge of screen reader technology and accessibility tools
