Web Application Developer
Job Summary
Seeking a full-time Web Application Developer, the candidate will be responsible for the development, deployment, and maintenance of websites and web-based applications for NASA's Earth Science Division, primarily using PHP with Drupal and WordPress, in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain engagement-focused websites and knowledge management tools using Drupal and WordPress
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and project managers, to deliver web solutions
- Experiment with various web-based platforms to enhance the user experience for internal and external audiences
Required qualifications
- BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, web design/development, or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years of experience in deploying commercial or government websites and secure web applications
- Proficiency in Drupal 10/11 maintenance and custom module development
- Experience with version control systems, specifically Git
- U.S. Citizenship required
