Web Application Developer

Job Summary

Web Application Developer, a full-time position requiring mid-level experience, responsible for supporting government-owned systems, monitoring and improving applications, and developing new production-ready applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Become a self-sufficient developer within the WebFOCUS application and reporting servers environment
• Take ownership of existing Java applications and related HTML-based webpages, contributing to their expansion and modernization
• Support the development of additional production-ready applications in the future

Required Qualifications

• Fluency in the Java programming language
• Experience deploying Java programs to application servers such as IBM WebSphere or Apache Tomcat
• Familiarity with Spring Boot, Spring Batch, and Spring Security
• Experience with front-end web development applications like React and Angular
• Knowledge of development operations involving git and GitLab
