Seeking a highly skilled Web Content Specialist on a freelance contract basis, this remote position will focus on auditing, rewriting, and optimizing website content to enhance performance in traditional search engines and AI-powered discovery environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Audit, rewrite, and standardize website content for the new digital experience
• Lead content optimization for modern search ecosystems, including SEO and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure content accuracy and alignment with brand messaging

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in digital content, web copywriting, or content marketing, preferably in B2B or life sciences
• Demonstrated experience with website redesigns or large-scale content migrations
• Strong expertise in SEO best practices and tools, GEO/AI search optimization, and writing for AI-driven discovery environments
• Hands-on experience with AI content tools such as JasperAI
• Ability to simplify complex scientific and technical topics into engaging content
