Web Copywriter
Job Summary
To support diabetes education initiatives, the part-time Web Copywriter will draft, edit, and optimize web content remotely, focusing on enhancing user engagement and website performance over a 7-month contract with potential for extension.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain content for the Learning Center, including drafting new articles and updating existing educational materials
- Optimize website content to improve clarity, readability, and engagement, implementing SEO recommendations as needed
- Support new website development by drafting content based on stakeholder requirements and workshop outputs
Required qualifications:
- Proven experience writing web copy for medical devices, with a focus on diabetes preferred
- Portfolio showcasing writing samples relevant to web copy and content development
- Experience with website optimization strategies and SEO best practices
- Ability to work approximately 20 hours per week, with potential to increase to 40 hours
- Experience with global website launches is a plus
