Web Data Engineer

Job Summary

To support a growing healthcare technology team, the full-time Web Data Engineer will design, build, and maintain high-performing applications while integrating AI-assisted coding tools and collaborating with product owners in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain Rails and JavaScript applications that support core features and mobile applications
• Develop data models, data load pipelines, and SQL scripts in MySQL and Snowflake
• Integrate AI-assisted programming tools into development workflows to optimize queries and accelerate application development

Required qualifications

• 4+ years of experience with Ruby on Rails
• 5+ years of experience with SQL database development in cloud environments
• Strong hands-on experience with public cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and modern data platforms like Snowflake
• Experience using AI development assistants for coding tasks
• Proven experience in an Agile/Scrum team structure
