Web Designer

Job Summary

To support the SAMHSA customer, the part-time remote Web Designer will design and enhance digital platforms through user-centered and accessible web design solutions, collaborating closely with developers and content managers.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and update website layouts, templates, and user interface components for SAMHSA digital platforms
• Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes using Figma while ensuring compliance with accessibility standards
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support ongoing web modernization efforts and high-visibility campaigns

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in UX/UI design, web design, or digital product design
• Experience with Drupal or enterprise CMS platforms
• Advanced proficiency in Figma and familiarity with Storybook component libraries
• Strong understanding of responsive design principles and accessibility best practices
• Familiarity with modern web design standards and component-based design systems
