Web Developer

Job Summary

To support a growing remote team, the full-time Web Developer will develop WordPress plugins using PHP, troubleshoot issues, and provide technical support while contributing innovative ideas to enhance the user experience.

Key responsibilities

• Troubleshoot issues and create detailed bug reports, dedicating 1-2 hours daily to support
• Develop WordPress plugins primarily using PHP and test solutions across multiple browsers and platforms
• Answer technical support questions and address client issues in a fast-paced environment

Required qualifications

• Expert skills in PHP, JavaScript, jQuery, WordPress, HTML, CSS, and REST APIs
• Experience using Git and familiarity with package managers such as NPM
• Self-driven work ethic with the ability to take initiative and see tasks through to completion
• Great English writing skills for effective communication with clients and team members
• Curiosity and a desire to learn, along with the ability to keep complex ideas simple
