Web Developer

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Web Developer to join the creative services team in Baton Rouge, LA, where the individual will manage and maintain websites, assist in building responsive applications, and collaborate with internal teams to deliver high-quality digital solutions.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain websites by updating existing code, content, security, and plugins
• Assist with building responsive websites and applications from scratch using semantic, version-controlled code
• Work collaboratively with internal teams to understand client needs and propose web or digital solutions

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, web development, or related field; certification from a reputable code bootcamp; or comparable work experience
• Three or more years of relevant experience translating visual designs into functioning websites and integrating into a CMS
• Experience with Craft CMS, WordPress, or other popular content management systems
• Extensive knowledge of HTML, CSS, and a working knowledge of JavaScript
• Experience with Git and version-control best practices
