Job Summary
To support the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the full-time Web Developer III will manage the development and maintenance of the Office of the Director websites and web portals, ensuring compliance with accessibility standards while working remotely during East Coast hours.
Key responsibilities
- Provide web development expertise and ensure operability of electronic communication and data platforms
- Develop and manage internet sites/pages using CDC's customized Web Content Management System (WCMS) and assist in website architecture and content management
- Create functional HTML prototypes, ensuring new web pages meet standards for compatibility and accessibility
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- 4-7 years of web development experience
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web programming languages
- Experience with Microsoft Azure, REST APIs, and database management
- Strong project management and organizational skills
