Web Developer III

Job Summary

Supporting the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in a temporary full-time capacity, the Web Developer III will manage the development and maintenance of the Office of the Director websites and web portals while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Provide web development expertise to ensure the operability of electronic communication and data platforms
• Develop and prioritize internet sites/pages using CDC's customized Web Content Management System (WCMS)
• Create functional HTML prototypes and ensure compliance with CDC and Section 508 guidelines for accessibility

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• 4-7 years of experience in web development
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery
• Experience with Microsoft Azure, Azure DevOps Services, and REST APIs
• Strong project management and organizational skills
