Web Developer Security Engineer
Job Summary
To enhance the security of mission-critical web applications, the full-time Web Developer Security Engineer will integrate security throughout the software development lifecycle, identify and remediate vulnerabilities, and support compliance initiatives, with a combination of on-site and remote work as needed.
Key responsibilities:
- Identify, analyze, and remediate web application vulnerabilities and security weaknesses
- Support vulnerability management activities, including threat modeling and security assessments
- Integrate security controls into web applications and APIs using secure-by-design principles
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Application Security or related disciplines
- Strong understanding of OWASP Top 10 and web application security best practices
- Experience with modern web technologies such as .NET, C#, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, REST APIs, and SQL
- Current security certification(s) such as CSSLP, GWEB, OSCP, or equivalent
