Web Developer Subject Matter Expert

Job Summary

Leading the design and development of web-based applications, the full-time Web Developer Subject Matter Expert will transform manual logistics processes into digital workflows while maintaining and expanding the MyNAVSUP intranet and mobile application platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development of custom software solutions for MyNAVSUP to enhance Navy supply chain and financial operations
• Perform daily maintenance, bug fixes, and performance tuning for the NAVSUP Enterprise Web environment to ensure high availability
• Support the modernization of legacy systems into web services, utilizing containerization and cloud environments

Required qualifications

• US Citizenship and Active DoD Clearance
• 10+ years of software development experience, with 3-5 years in DoD or Navy IT environments
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
• Experience with DevSecOps pipelines, automated testing, and containerization technologies
• Proficiency in modern web technologies including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and frameworks such as PHP or ASP.NET
