Seeking a technical expert, the full-time Web Engineer Lead will design, enhance, and deliver the engineering framework for a global web presence, focusing on modern CMS platforms, cloud infrastructure, and web performance optimization in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Drive modernization toward a scalable website architecture across multi-domain properties, implementing Core Web Vitals optimization and performance engineering
• Establish advanced performance reporting using dashboards and monitoring tools, linking web performance metrics to revenue outcomes
• Lead enterprise CMS transformation initiatives, managing large-scale migrations and ensuring alignment with business continuity and SEO/AEO preservation

Required qualifications

• 12+ years of hands-on web engineering experience with technical leadership on complex, high-traffic, multi-domain web properties
• Deep expertise with Optimizely and WordPress, including backend work in .NET/C# and PHP
• Proven experience in leading large-scale CMS migrations and cloud hosting on AWS and Azure
• Strong command of Core Web Vitals and performance engineering tools like Lighthouse CI and New Relic
• Technical SEO and AEO expertise, including structured data and generative platform discoverability
