Web Operations Engineer

Job Summary

Serving as the technical owner of the organization's web infrastructure, the full-time remote Web Operations Engineer will manage DNS configurations, deploy and maintain secure WordPress environments, and ensure compliance with HIPAA and SOC 2 standards while collaborating with Cloud Security teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and manage DNS and domain configurations, ensuring security validation before execution
• Deploy and maintain standardized WordPress environments with security-hardened configurations
• Monitor and maintain overall web infrastructure health, performance, and security posture

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Web Systems, or a related field
• 5+ years of specialized WebOps or Site Reliability Engineering experience
• Experience managing WordPress in regulated environments such as healthcare or finance
• Strong understanding of DNS management, including DNSSEC, SPF, DKIM, and DMARC
• Experience with CDNs and web security platforms such as Cloudflare or Akamai
