Web Platform Support Engineer

Job Summary

Owning the operational heartbeat of the production WordPress/LAMP stack, the full-time remote Web Platform Support Engineer will manage daily and weekly releases, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with developers and vendors to ensure seamless site launches and support for a next-generation cloud platform.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, review, test, and deploy releases across the WordPress platform while diagnosing and resolving technical issues
• Execute client site launches and coordinate with clients and vendors during go-live processes
• Support cloud-hosted microservices and internal tooling while monitoring container workloads and assisting with deployments

Required qualifications

• 3-6 years of experience in technical operations, platform support, or systems administration
• Deep knowledge of WordPress, including themes, plugins, and PHP-level debugging
• Strong command of HTML, JavaScript, and Linux command line (Ubuntu/Debian preferred)
• Experience managing nginx and working knowledge of MySQL
• Familiarity with DNS management and scripted deployment workflows
