WebOps Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a WebOps Engineer, CI/CD & Security Standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with developers to identify and resolve security issues in plugins, themes, or deployment processes
• Implement and maintain GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines with a focus on security, including automated testing and deployment rules
• Document and evangelize best practices for secure web development workflows, particularly for WordPress and marketing websites

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in web development operations, DevOps, or developer experience roles
• Demonstrated experience managing GitHub-based development, including repo structures and PR processes
• Strong knowledge of WordPress architecture and security practices
• Experience with security tools integrated into CI/CD workflows
• Working knowledge of common web vulnerabilities and experience mitigating them
