WebSphere Commerce Architect

Job Summary

A company is looking for a WebSphere Commerce Architect for a fully remote 1-2 year contract.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture, design, and evolution of the enterprise WebSphere Commerce platform for high-volume eCommerce initiatives
• Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements and define scalable solution architecture
• Establish architectural standards and best practices for WebSphere Commerce implementations

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on experience with WebSphere Commerce, including architecture and platform design
• Proven expertise in Java and building scalable backend services
• Strong understanding of front-end architectures, particularly React
• Extensive experience with REST/SOAP-based integrations across enterprise systems
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and leading technical design within cross-functional teams
