Job Summary

A company is looking for a Part-time Weekend SQL Server DBA.

Key Responsibilities

Act as the first line of defense for critical SQL Server Agent alerts and urgent customer calls
Execute scheduled maintenance tasks and manage database operations during weekends
Work through ticket backlog and coordinate with the weekday DBA team for handoffs

Required Qualifications

2-5 years of experience as a production support SQL Server DBA
Hands-on experience with SQL Server 2012 through 2025 and instance-level best practices
Ability to write T-SQL and perform performance tuning
Experience with native backups, point-in-time restores, and high availability solutions
Familiarity with deploying and troubleshooting SSIS packages
