Weekend Virtual Acute Care Provider

Job Summary

Providing essential weekend clinical coverage, the full-time Weekend Virtual Acute Care Provider will deliver acute care via telehealth, diagnosing complex medical conditions and establishing care plans while working three 12-hour shifts on Saturdays and Sundays in a fully remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Perform Care OnDemand visits, including evaluating and diagnosing acute illnesses and establishing care plans
• Collaborate with the member's care team, including PCPs and specialists, to coordinate and deliver comprehensive care
• Utilize and provide feedback on the electronic health information system while adapting to evolving healthcare needs

Required qualifications

• At least three years of experience as an Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) in acute settings
• Active and in-good-standing RN and APRN licenses for Nurse Practitioners or an active Physician Assistant license
• Availability to work three 12-hour shifts per week, including weekends
• Experience in managing acute/chronic disease exacerbations
• Willingness to obtain licensure in multiple states as needed
