Job Summary

A company is looking for a Welding Engineer.

Key Responsibilities:

Review and understand weld process documents and intended weld design support
Provide technical support for fabricator welding procedure and weld qualification reviews
Knowledge of welding defects and their causes

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science in Welding Engineering or equivalent engineering discipline
3-5 years of Welding Process, Design, and Applications experience
Familiarity with ASME BPVC Section III Division 1 and Section IX, AWS A2.4 and A3.0 codes
Ability to review process specifications, welding procedures, inspection procedures, and weld qualification reports
Familiarity with physical and welding metallurgy of various materials
