Welding Engineer/Inspector

Job Summary

Working remotely as a full-time permanent employee, the Welding Engineer/Inspector will focus on ensuring compliance with welding standards, conducting inspections, and providing technical guidance in the maritime sector.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct welding inspections to ensure adherence to industry standards and specifications
• Provide technical support and guidance on welding processes and procedures
• Collaborate with project teams to resolve welding-related issues and improve quality assurance

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Welding Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
• Certification as a Welding Inspector (e.g., AWS CWI or equivalent)
• Experience in welding processes and standards, particularly in the maritime industry
• Knowledge of relevant codes and regulations (e.g., ASME, API)
• Proficiency in inspection techniques and quality assurance practices
