Job Summary
A company in the healthcare industry is seeking a Wellness Advocate.
Position Responsibilities:
- Receive inbound phone calls from members and caregivers in response to various wellness outreach campaigns
- Complete outreach efforts to provide ongoing support and coordination of individual health and wellness services
- Educate members on and promote usage of services and resources available through partner programs
Required Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in a role with Health or Human Services background
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience, preferably in Social Services or Healthcare Administration
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of applications
- Effective active listening skills with an ability to assess situations to provide appropriate action and resolution
- Experience with Medicaid, Medicare Advantage health plans, or Home Care
