Job Summary

A company is looking for an Inside Claims Representative.

Key Responsibilities

• Investigates and adjudicates liability and property claims, ensuring compliance with statutory laws
• Establishes contact with all parties involved in claims and evaluates/negotiates claims for payment
• Maintains knowledge of liability laws and assists with property claims during high volume periods

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with two years of related claims handling or customer service experience
• Bachelor's or Associate's degree preferred
• Successful completion of Introduction to Insurance (INTRO) and Introduction to Claims (AIC 30) preferred
• Must obtain appropriate state licenses within 45 days of employment for external applicants
• Must reside within 50 miles of the Parkersburg Branch office and work remotely
