Job Summary

A company is looking for a Clinical Pharmacist responsible for providing pharmaceutical care through direct patient care, operational, educational, and administrative activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provides leadership in patient care and guides providers on best practices for safe drug use
  • Monitors drug therapy and participates in medical rounds to evaluate patient medication regimens
  • Assists in managing acute and chronic disease states and ensures compliance with drug distribution policies
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) from an ACPE accredited school
  • Current license to practice pharmacy in West Virginia or eligibility for licensure within 90 days of hire
  • Certification in Basic Life Support within 60 days of hire
  • Completion of a residency training or three years of pharmacist experience is preferred
