Job Summary
To provide comprehensive nutritional care for families dealing with eating disorders, the full-time Remote West Virginia Licensed Dietitian will collaborate with a treatment team, develop individualized treatment plans, and support patients in transforming their eating patterns through telehealth consultations.
Key responsibilities
- Assist patients and families in developing a healthy relationship with food through ongoing support and education
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans, including initial assessments and meal plans, while regularly updating progress
- Communicate effectively with the treatment team and families regarding nutrition-related concerns and provide evidence-based nutrition education
Required qualifications
- Active state license in West Virginia
- Bachelor's degree accredited by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
- Licensed Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) required; experience with eating disorders preferred
- Experience working on interdisciplinary teams
- Ability to commit to a minimum of 30 hours a week for direct patient care, including evening hours
