Job Summary
Seeking a full-time Lead Electrical Engineer IV with a West Virginia Licensed Electrical Engineer designation, the position involves leading projects from design to construction, specifying electrical and instrumentation equipment, and performing electrical calculations while working primarily onsite in Charleston, WV, with some remote flexibility.
Key responsibilities
- Lead projects from front end loading to detail design and construction, managing procurement, cost, schedule, and team dynamics
- Specify electrical and instrumentation equipment and perform necessary electrical calculations
- Review design documents, prepare estimates, and develop bid-ready construction packages while collaborating with various disciplines
Required qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering required
- 8+ years of industrial electrical, controls, and instrumentation design/engineering experience preferred
- Professional Engineering License preferred or the goal to obtain it if not already held
- Ability to lead projects with local and remote team members and interface with project managers and clients
- Familiarity with the National Electrical Code (NFPA 70) and NFPA 70E standards
