Job Summary

A company is looking for a Physician Advisor.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement utilization management protocols to optimize hospital services and patient care
• Conduct physician education sessions and investigate avoidable delays affecting patient outcomes
• Ensure compliance with medical staff bylaws and assist in meeting regulatory guidelines and quality improvement objectives

Required Qualifications

• Doctorate of medicine from an accredited School of Medicine or Osteopathy
• Board certified by a board recognized by the American Board of Medical Specialties
• Holds or is eligible for Medical licensure in the State of West Virginia
• A minimum of 5 years clinical experience in the practice of medicine is preferred
• Credentialed member of all system hospitals
