Job Summary
Seeking a dedicated West Virginia Licensed Quality Specialist, the part-time PRN position will evaluate patient care documentation, assess compliance with healthcare standards, and identify opportunities for enhancing care delivery in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities
- Analyze healthcare documentation to identify noncompliance with national and state standards
- Conduct audits and reviews of patient medical records to ensure accurate documentation and compliance
- Prepare detailed reports on audit findings and collaborate with healthcare professionals to improve patient care outcomes
Required qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse license issued by the state or multi-state Registered Nurse license through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC)
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred)
- Three years of healthcare experience, including one year in home health
- Experience in quality improvement or compliance roles in healthcare
- Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and standards
