Job Summary
Managing wholesale energy and capacity contracts, the full-time Energy Portfolio Manager will oversee contract compliance, financial performance monitoring, and operational coordination in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as the owner for post-execution management of wholesale energy and capacity contracts, ensuring compliance with deliverables
- Monitor financial performance and coordinate settlement and scheduling with internal teams and third-party managers
- Identify and escalate commercial or regulatory risks while driving process improvements for scalable portfolio management
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, engineering, energy, or a related discipline
- 7+ years of experience in wholesale energy markets, power trading operations, or energy portfolio management
- Deep knowledge of bilateral and organized wholesale market constructs and commercial mechanics of energy transactions
- Experience managing post-execution wholesale energy contracts, including compliance and counterparty management
- Working knowledge of FERC regulatory frameworks and RTO/ISO market rules
