Wi-Fi Architect
Job Summary
Leading end-to-end EasyMesh development within the RDK-B framework, the full-time Wi-Fi Architect will manage architecture, implementation, and interoperability efforts while collaborating with industry stakeholders and overseeing certification programs remotely.
Key responsibilities:
- Drive the development and deployment of RDKB EasyMesh solutions, ensuring compliance with industry standards
- Engage with cable and broadband operators to define feature requirements and manage adoption processes
- Define engineering best practices and oversee test planning and execution for WFA EasyMesh certification
Required qualifications:
- Deep expertise in IEEE 802.11 standards, including Wi-Fi 4, 5, 6, and 7
- Hands-on proficiency with Wi-Fi user-space tools and strong Linux kernel knowledge
- Proficiency in C and C++, with working knowledge of Python and Java
- Experience with WFA certification tooling and network diagnostics tools
- Familiarity with version control systems and project tracking tools
