Job Summary
Teaching online courses in Wildlife Conservation, the part-time Adjunct Instructor will facilitate engagement in 5-week undergraduate-level courses while providing timely feedback and support to an average of 20 students remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Facilitate asynchronous online courses in Wildlife Conservation and related subjects
- Provide timely feedback and engage with students through Discussion Board tasks
- Maintain professional knowledge and participate in required training and development activities
Required qualifications
- Terminal degree (e.g., PhD) in wildlife conservation, ecology, or a related field, or a master's degree with relevant professional experience
- Proficiency in operating a personal computer and associated software (e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Effective communication skills using e-mail and digital conferencing tools
- Personal commitment to the environmental focus and mission of the institution
