Wind Resource Assessment Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Wind Resource Assessment Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform site-level and long-term wind resource assessments, including modeling and uncertainty analysis
• Design and optimize turbine layouts in collaboration with various engineering teams
• Maintain technical ownership of wind resource and layout deliverables, coordinating with internal teams and external consultants

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Meteorology, or a closely related field
• 4+ years of experience in wind resource assessments and turbine layout design
• Proficiency with wind resource assessment and modeling software
• Working knowledge of GIS tools for project data analysis
• Collaborative work style with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
