Wind Technician - OK Licensed
Job Summary
To support the growth of onshore wind power, the full-time Wind Technician - OK Licensed will perform maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure optimal turbine operations while working onsite and collaborating with site leadership.
Key responsibilities
- Execute contractual obligations by maintaining and repairing electrical and mechanical equipment of wind turbine generators
- Troubleshoot complex mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical problems on turbines
- Document all work performed and respond to GE's remote operations center as necessary
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1+ years of experience as a Wind Technician/Wind Mechanic or completion of a Wind Certificate Program/Associate's Degree in Energy
- Passing a Technical Knowledge Assessment
- Basic computer skills
- Valid driver's license and ability to handle repetitive weight of 50 lbs
