Windchill Java Customization Engineer

Job Summary

To support a growing team, the full-time remote Windchill Java Customization Engineer will design and develop advanced Java customizations within Windchill, focusing on deep platform integrations and enhancements while collaborating with cross-functional partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop advanced Java customizations within Windchill, including custom services, listeners, and processors
• Optimize performance of Java customizations and adhere to PTC customization best practices for upgrade-friendly solutions
• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers, ensuring high engineering standards and effective knowledge sharing

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• Five or more years of Java development experience, with a strong focus on Windchill customization
• Deep, hands-on experience with the Windchill Java API and customization frameworks
• Solid understanding of Windchill data model, lifecycle, and workflow internals
• Strong SQL skills and familiarity with Oracle or SQL Server
