Windchill Java Customization Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Windchill Java Customization Engineer, the full-time remote position will focus on developing advanced Java customizations within Windchill, utilizing PTC APIs and customization frameworks while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver well-engineered solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop advanced Java customizations within Windchill, including custom services and background processes
• Extend the Windchill data model and implement complex workflow expressions, ensuring upgrade-friendly customizations
• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers, promoting adherence to internal engineering standards

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• Five or more years of Java development experience, particularly with Windchill customization
• Deep hands-on experience with the Windchill Java API and customization frameworks
• Solid understanding of Windchill data model, lifecycle, and workflow internals
• Strong SQL skills and familiarity with Oracle or SQL Server
