Windchill Java Customization Engineer

Job Summary

To support a growing team, the full-time Windchill Java Customization Engineer will design and develop advanced Java customizations within Windchill, focusing on deep customizations using PTC APIs and frameworks while working remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop advanced Java customizations within Windchill, including services, listeners, and processors
• Extend the Windchill data model with custom types and attributes, and optimize performance of Java customizations
• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers to uphold engineering standards and promote technical growth

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• Five or more years of Java development experience with a strong focus on Windchill customization
• Deep experience with the Windchill Java API and customization frameworks
• Solid understanding of Windchill data model, lifecycle, and workflow internals
• Strong SQL skills and familiarity with Oracle or SQL Server
