Windchill Java Customization Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Windchill Java Customization Engineer, the full-time remote position will design and develop advanced Java customizations within Windchill, focusing on deep customizations using PTC APIs and frameworks while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver well-engineered solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop advanced Java customizations within Windchill, including custom services, listeners, and processors
• Extend the Windchill data model with custom types and attributes, and build custom JSP and HTML extensions
• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers, ensuring adherence to engineering standards and best practices

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• Five or more years of Java development experience, specifically in Windchill customization
• Hands-on experience with the Windchill Java API and customization frameworks
• Strong understanding of Windchill data model, lifecycle, and workflow internals
• Experience with JSP, HTML, and Type and Attribute Management (TAM)
