Windchill Java Customization Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a skilled Windchill Java Customization Engineer, this full-time remote position will focus on designing and developing advanced Java customizations within Windchill, utilizing PTC APIs and customization frameworks while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver well-engineered solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop advanced Java customizations within Windchill, including custom services, listeners, and processors
• Extend the Windchill data model with custom types and attributes, and build custom JSP and HTML extensions
• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers while ensuring adherence to PTC customization best practices

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• Five or more years of Java development experience, specifically in Windchill customization
• Deep hands-on experience with the Windchill Java API and customization frameworks
• Strong SQL skills and familiarity with Oracle or SQL Server
• Experience supporting Windchill upgrades and solid understanding of Windchill data model and lifecycle
