Windchill Java Customization Engineer

Job Summary

Experienced in Windchill customizations, the full-time remote Windchill Java Customization Engineer will design and develop advanced Java solutions, optimize performance, and lead migration efforts while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure durable, well-documented outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop advanced Java customizations within Windchill, including custom services and background processes
• Extend the Windchill data model using Type and Attribute Management (TAM) and build custom JSP and HTML extensions
• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers while maintaining comprehensive technical documentation

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• Five or more years of Java development experience, with a strong focus on Windchill customization
• Deep, hands-on experience with the Windchill Java API and customization frameworks
• Solid understanding of Windchill data model, lifecycle, and workflow internals
• Strong SQL skills and familiarity with Oracle or SQL Server
