Windchill Java Customization Engineer

Job Summary

Experienced in Windchill customizations, the full-time remote Windchill Java Customization Engineer will design and develop advanced Java solutions, extend the Windchill data model, and optimize performance while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure durable and well-documented outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop advanced Java customizations within Windchill, including custom services and processors
• Extend the Windchill data model with custom types and attributes using Type and Attribute Management (TAM)
• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers to uphold internal engineering standards

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• Five or more years of Java development experience with a focus on Windchill customization
• Deep hands-on experience with the Windchill Java API and customization frameworks
• Solid understanding of Windchill data model, lifecycle, and workflow internals
• Experience supporting Windchill upgrades and strong SQL skills
