Windchill Java Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Windchill Java Customization Engineer, the full-time remote position will focus on developing advanced Java customizations within Windchill, including custom services and data model extensions, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver robust solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop advanced Java customizations within Windchill, including custom services, listeners, and processors
• Extend the Windchill data model with custom types and attributes using Type and Attribute Management (TAM)
• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers, ensuring adherence to internal engineering standards and best practices

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• Five or more years of Java development experience, with a strong focus on Windchill customization
• Deep, hands-on experience with the Windchill Java API and customization frameworks
• Solid understanding of Windchill data model, lifecycle, and workflow internals
• Strong SQL skills and familiarity with Oracle or SQL Server
