Windchill Java Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Windchill Java Customization Engineer to work remotely in a full-time capacity, this role focuses on developing advanced Java customizations within Windchill, utilizing PTC APIs and frameworks while ensuring upgrade-friendly practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop advanced Java customizations within Windchill, including services, listeners, and processors
• Extend the Windchill data model and build custom JSP and HTML extensions for enhanced functionality
• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers, ensuring adherence to internal engineering standards and best practices

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• Five or more years of Java development experience with a strong focus on Windchill customization
• Deep, hands-on experience with the Windchill Java API and customization frameworks
• Solid understanding of Windchill data model, lifecycle, and workflow internals
• Strong SQL skills and familiarity with Oracle or SQL Server
