Windchill Java Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Windchill Java Customization Engineer, this full-time remote position will focus on developing advanced Java customizations within Windchill, utilizing PTC APIs and customization frameworks while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop advanced Java customizations within Windchill, including services, listeners, and processors
• Extend the Windchill data model with custom types and attributes, and build custom JSP and HTML extensions
• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers to uphold internal engineering standards and foster technical growth

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• Five or more years of Java development experience with a strong focus on Windchill customization
• Deep, hands-on experience with the Windchill Java API and customization frameworks
• Solid understanding of Windchill data model, lifecycle, and workflow internals
• Strong SQL skills and familiarity with Oracle or SQL Server
