Windchill Java Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Windchill Java Customization Engineer, the full-time remote position will focus on deep customizations using Java and PTC APIs, ensuring upgrade-friendly solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams and mentoring junior engineers.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop advanced Java customizations within Windchill, including custom services, listeners, and processors
• Extend the Windchill data model and optimize performance of Java customizations while adhering to PTC best practices
• Conduct code reviews and provide hands-on post-go-live support to ensure system stability and documentation

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• Five or more years of Java development experience with a strong focus on Windchill customization
• Deep, hands-on experience with the Windchill Java API and customization frameworks
• Solid understanding of Windchill data model, lifecycle, and workflow internals
• Strong SQL skills and familiarity with Oracle or SQL Server
