Windchill Java Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Windchill Java Customization Engineer, the full-time remote position will focus on designing and developing advanced Java customizations within Windchill, utilizing PTC APIs and frameworks to enhance platform functionality.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop advanced Java customizations within Windchill, including custom services, listeners, and processors
• Extend the Windchill data model with custom types and attributes while adhering to PTC customization best practices
• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers to uphold internal engineering standards and improve team technical maturity

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• Five or more years of Java development experience with a focus on Windchill customization
• Deep knowledge of the Windchill Java API and customization frameworks
• Strong SQL skills and familiarity with Oracle or SQL Server
• Experience supporting Windchill upgrades and maintaining technical documentation
