Windchill Java Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Windchill Java Customization Engineer for a full-time remote position, who will design and develop advanced Java customizations within Windchill, extend the data model, and optimize performance while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop advanced Java customizations within Windchill, including custom services and processors
• Extend the Windchill data model using Type and Attribute Management (TAM) and build custom JSP and HTML extensions
• Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to junior engineers, ensuring adherence to engineering standards and best practices

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• Five or more years of Java development experience with a strong focus on Windchill customization
• Deep hands-on experience with the Windchill Java API and customization frameworks
• Solid understanding of Windchill data model, lifecycle, and workflow internals
• Strong SQL skills and familiarity with Oracle or SQL Server
